This was an opportune time to start planning , to do things I want to do, for myself. This became more eventful for me, as now , through fate and some proper timing, I had married young and my two kids, were also able to graduate or almost finish Uni by 2022. Again , more alarm bells was ringing in my head.

The bucket list started to get filled.

1) Watch The Brazilian Football team live –( I watched them in Russia 2018.) it was one of my most memorable memories. I became the ‘selecao’

2) Watch Celine Dion live - I have been a fan of Celine all my life, and SHE WAS AWESOME. This is a definition of a concert and i would pay more to see her again and perhaps close up.

3) Watch Mariah Carey Live ( should this be even in the list cos her show in Singapore WAS JUST HORRIBLE) - what a waste of the artiste i knew growing up!

4) Watch U2 live’( this was all prepared for but that was not to happen as my mum would be buried on the day i was to attend the concert) - no worries Bono and Gang are still alive and kicking, and i will watch them some time soon)

5) Build the first fully automated engine room in a palm oil factory, doing a evolutionary design for a factory - this was important to me because in my career i was always told that one could not do this. Yay i proof them ( all the naysayers) WRONG. This became a reality in 2019.

6) Retire by 50 - almost did that but a certain virus caused some delays around the world. The world came to stand still.

The list was being added but no where was there a plan to do a circumnavigation.

Then we started to do a regatta, and in there I saw , racing was not my thing. In that time Dr Param, started to introduce me to reading books on cruising, the first book he shared with me was Beth Leonards -The Voyagers Handbook. Along with that, I started to join forums and to do more reading.

A thought started to form in my head, could Destiny do a Circumnavigation?
